The consolidated
information about participants of the Call for Action São Paulo, held in November 2008, confirm the diversity and the
balance of representation of most groups in Brazil.
.: Many institutions of higher education attended the meeting.
Exactly half of the participants are from the area of education, including administrators, deans, teachers and students.

The companies represented 20% of those in attendance. Representatives of municipal authorities and civil society organizations
also participated, each with 10% of the total participants.
.: Professional Media, Architecture, Design and Visual
Arts totaled 5% of those present, with professional associations completing the other 5% of those attending.
Geography
of the public
Most participants (75%) came from the city of São Paulo, while 14% were from the interior
of the State.
The Southeast Region of the state accounted for 85% of these, 10% came from the South, 4% from the Northeast,
and only 0.5% from Center-west and North.
There are 26 states in the country of Brazil.
Besides São Paulo, other Brazilian states represented
in this meeting were Bahia, Espírito Santo, Minas Gerais, Distrito Federal, Paraíba, Paraná, Rio de Janeiro,
Santa Catarina and Tocantins.
